Alaska Halibut Fishing Charters

Questa uscita di pesca prevede 2 ore di navigazione andata e ritorno verso le zone di Halibut situate nell'area meridionale di Lynn Canal. Le normative sull'Halibut richiedono di trattenere un solo esemplare di lunghezza inferiore a 44 pollici o superiore a 80 pollici. You'll be wading (no boat). Salmon fishing in Seward is very unique. We snag Salmon, and the first cast guides do it by seeing the fish, then casting. It's almost like hunting but with a pole. It can be very intense when you're looking for King Salmon and then you see some monsters headed your way. Then it's up to you to snag one, fight it to a rugged beach and land it. This 4-hour trip is seasonal.

8 hours of trolling for salmon catch and release or retaining fish if desired. The target species depends on the part of the summer that you decide to visit ketchikan Note: The species of salmon around will change throughout the summer. In may and June, only king salmon are around to target, and kings may not be retained until June 15th.

Having the full day range, we are able to get out to more productive grounds as we target King Salmon, Coho Salmon, Pink Salmon, Ling Cod, Black Sea bass, Pacific cod and Black cod. While the fish count is greater on these charters we often see more wildlife along the way as well including Humpback whales and Porpoises. I highly recommend this charter as i strive to make it memorable and abundant with the catch. Fish Processing is offered at the dock we depart from and we also offer lodging if needed.

4-hour Halibut fishing is a great choice for guests with limited time like cruise ship passengers. Departure times are available as early as 6 am. Actual trip departure time depends on your schedule.
