Mims Passera Fishing Charters

These are not redfish trips. This trip is for 2 adults, 1 adult and 2 children, or 2 adults and 1 child. Use live shrimp to catch a variety of fish of all sizes. No experience needed. Children as young as 5 can catch fish on appropriately sized tackle. We fish protected waters close to shore. See a variety of wildlife including dolphins which come right next to the boat. These trips always result in fish being caught and it is not uncommon to catch a dozen different species and over 30/trip.

This is a nearshore trip (up to 3 miles offshore), perfect for families who want to experience fishing and get comfortable on the water. We fish out of Port Canaveral, working the jetties, rock piles, buoys, and markers. Our target inshore species include snook, tarpon, and redfish, but depending on the season, we also catch jack crevalle, bluefish, sheepshead, and many more. The first few hours of light in the morning can be a fantastic bite. This 4-hour charter is for that fisherman or family that doesn't have the time to be on the water all day but still wants the opportunity to catch some fish. Inshore fishing can be pretty productive in these first few hours after sunrise. We will be fishing the inshore waters near New Smyrna Beach, Edgewater, and Oak Hill, primarily looking at fishing structure and the backwaters of this unique fishery.
