California Crab Fishing Charters

Experience the fun and exciting inshore fishery off of Dana Point. A great trip for the family or a group looking to get out on the water to enjoy a few hours of fishing and local sightseeing. We will target our local reefs for our inshore species and run offshore if we hear of big game fish close to home. A great trip for all experience levels.

We will be fishing for crabs with hoop nets as our primary quarry, we will be spending some time on rockfishing.

California spiny Lobster is the best in the world and because of that they generally are exported and you probably have never seen it available here. Now's your chance to go and catch it! The season runs from October to March.

Target some delicious spiny Lobster on our coastline. Not the harbor! The limit is 7 Lobster per person and we provide all the gear and bait to catch it. You just need to bring a valid California fishing license and a Lobster report card. Also, bring food or drinks. Please take care of your crew, they will provide the best service, 15-20% is the average tip.

Lobster hooping and fishing combo trip. Guests can enjoy a afternoon of coastal fishing then, as darkness approaches we switch gears to hoopnet for lobster. 10 hoops are used per california regulations. Full galley…There is a 200.00 galley minimum and no alcohol is allowed to be brought aboard.

Come spend some time on the water fishing for flat fish such as Sand Dabs and Petrale Sole while soaking crab pots for fresh Dungeness crab.

The Los Angeles and Long Beach harbor and the areas surrounding the harbor provide over 50 miles of premium inshore fishing. These areas hold a wide range of species you can target. Some of the more common fish species are Calico Bass, Barred Sand Bass, Spotted Bay Bass, California Halibut, Bonita, Barracuda, along with a variety of other game species. These inshore areas provide great fishing grounds for both first time anglers and expert anglers alike.

This is a crab only trip. Limit is 10 crab per person.
