We'll target a variety of shallow‑water species that cruise the surf line, harbor channels, and bay. It's an easygoing, comfortable trip ideal for families, beginners, and anyone looking for a smooth, scenic day on the water.

Enjoy a fun and family-friendly 3-hour Kids Special Trip with Captain Ray. Minimum age for this trip is 6. This short trip is perfect for introducing kids to fishing in a relaxed and safe environment while staying close to shore. Target local species such as leopard shark and spotted bass, with guidance suited for beginners. All tackle is included, making it easy for families to join in and enjoy a memorable time on the water.

This is a local 3/4-day fishing trip to Coronado Island in Mexico. A Mexican fishing license and valid passports are required. Licenses can be purchased at Fisherman's Tackle on the way to the marina. We target bottom fish species such as Rockfish, Halibut, and Yellowtail. These trips are very enjoyable, as we typically catch a steady amount of bottom fish. Trip times are 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

We will target Halibut in the harbor. This is a nice relaxing trip that allows you to take in the sights of the San Diego skyline while affording you the opportunity to catch halibut, spotted bay bass and other local species.

4 hour quick trip in local inshore waters for up to four passengers. Ideal for families or groups wanting to just get out on the water! Our highly experienced captains will jet you out to the local kelp beds and fishing hot spots. This shorter option is a great way to get a taste of ocean fishing, learn some new techniques, and see the local wildlife.

On this trip, with 3 passengers we primarily target halibut using live bait and sometimes lures. With 4 passengers, we fish using artificial lures. Please be flexible with timing, as trips are scheduled around tide movements. You may keep your catch; however, we recommend keeping only halibut or sand bass, though any fish of legal size may be retained.

A full-day trip takes advantage of the early morning bite window and gives you the best chances at catching your limit of fish! Shasta Lake is a very unique place and can offer some great fishing. We have the option to use trolling methods for Salmon and Trout, or we can use casting methods for multiple species of Bass!
