Il Capitano Charlie fornirà canne e mulinelli, insieme alle esche artificiali. Sono disponibili esche vive, ma assicurati di chiedere informazioni per sapere se dovrai catturarle tu stesso.

I chose Captain Carlos because the reviews said he was good with kids and I was taking my 12 year-old son. I figured if he was good with kids, he would have patience. And patience is what makes a good fisherman and captain. My son left the day a better fisherman, just like Carlos promised. My son had a very low confidence about fishing, but left the day feeling so proud of himself. Carlos did not disappoint. He took us right to where the fish were biting. But he did much more than that, which really made him stand out. He was attentive; always replacing our bait and getting us back in the water, offering advice on where to drop our lines, keeping us fed and hydrated, taking great pictures of our catch, and making fantastic conversation about fishing, the local communities, and the waters. Carlos is a captain that knows what he is doing. We caught six different species: snook, sheepshead, pufferfish, mangrove snapper, spade fish, and grouper. He helped us successfully land all these and did an amazing job helping my 12 year-old son get the two biggest fish in the boat. My son catching a 20” sheepshead was a highlight for the whole boat! I can’t recommend Carlos enough. Book him now and you won’t regret it! Next time I am here, he will be my go to! Thanks again, Carlos!

Inshore Sanibel Fishing

Shark Fishing on December 29, 2025 • 2 adults

Charlie took us to some great spots and we caught a lot of grouper and snapper. We also caught a huge Amberjack which we were able to keep. Charlie processed our snapper and Jack on the boat for us which we all indulged in for a meal later that evening. lots of fun and he allowed us to bring our dog and drink some beers which added to the enjoyment. most importantly, he patiently assisted and taught the individuals that didn't have much angling experience.

8-Hour Fishing Charter with Captain Charlie Hookem Our day on the water with Captain Charlie Hookem was nothing short of incredible. We arrived around 7:00 AM and were greeted with everything ready to go—Captain Charlie had the bait prepped and lines rigged before we even stepped aboard. Within minutes of reaching our first spot, the action started. We caught a variety of species throughout the day, including hard-fighting snook, tasty mangrove snapper, and even went toe-to-toe with a massive Goliath grouper. The experience was well-organized, action-packed, and a true testament to Captain Charlie’s knowledge and preparation. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or new to fishing, a trip with Captain Hookem is an unforgettable way to spend a day on the water.

Took 3 grandsons out with Captain Carlos. Had a fantastic day. Five year old out fished us all. We were on fish all morning. Close encounter with a dolphin. Enjoyed interacting with Captain and he was great with the boys. Will definitely book with him next year if we’re able to get back.
