Great Fall Trip
Marathon Adventure and Catch on October 4, 2025 • 6 adults
I’m from MD and searched for a trip up north for Cod, Haddock and Pollock. Capt Andy was the first of several captains I reached out to that responded. Gave great insight on best time to achieve my goal and we set a date six months out. Gave me weather conditions and worst case scenario option if we needed to reschedule with two hurricanes swirling in the Atlantic. Weather was perfect and the original date confirmed. Unexpected engine trouble tried to end our journey as we hit the open water but our Capt Andy fearlessly went down into that engine and fixed everything himself so we could continue to the fishing grounds. He fished hard to put us over the catch and moved quickly on from any dormant spot. Capt Andy filleted and bagged our catch so that we were fish fry ready. Although our undersized Cod was released, the unexpected Cusk catches definitely made up for it. Awesome day on the water where I added 6 new species to my personal list of fish caught. Capt Andy also recommend an awesome spot for a fresh lobster dinner to hit up when we came off the water. Definitely will be making that 8 hour drive up to do it again.

Unforgettable Family Fishing Trip with Captain Andy!

We had an absolutely amazing time on our family fishing trip with Adventure and Catch Charters! Captain Andy was outstanding from start to finish. His knowledge of the water and local area made the experience feel exciting and safe, and he had a natural way of explaining things that kept both adults and kids engaged.
What really stood out was how great he was with the kids. Patient, encouraging, and genuinely excited for them when they caught fish. He took the time to teach them about the gear, the fish we were catching, and even a bit about the local marine life, all while keeping the trip fun and interactive. It was such a memorable experience for our whole family.
We can't recommend Captain Andy and this charter enough. If you're looking for a family-friendly adventure on the water, this is it!

There are three things that made this trip amazing. Firstly, captain andrew took the time out of his day and money out of his pocket to take us on a marathon tuna charter when we only paid for a half day, because our group was all military and we were having a celebration. Secondly his knowledge and expertise of the area and the fish was second to none. Increasing our overall catch tenfold. Lastly, Captain Andrew had the sense of humor and demeanor expected of a fishing boat captain, so it made the time that much more enjoyable. I would recommend his charter to anyone.

Marathon Groundfish Adventure for 3

Wife,Daughter and I all had a blast! Captain Andy always asks how he can provide the best experience based on customer expectations. And then, he delivers. He does his homework, watches the forecast and then strives for perfection for the customer. He knows the locations very well and puts you on fish all day. We caught over 100 fish ( I myself caught 43). We had a cooler full of Haddock, Cusk and Pollock and 1 Keeper Redfish. He's the "reel thing". We will definitely book again. A huge Thank you Captain Andy!!!!

Caught fish in NH and ME

My 11 year old has a goal to catch a fish in every state. Capt Andy put us on fish right off the bat. We caught New Hampshire within 30 min. Then we moved out to Maine and caught a bunch there. The weather did not cooperate but Captain Andy was really good to explain what was going on and what he was thinking and where we were going. He was extremely patient and took time to teach my son. I have no doubt he takes the same great care with all of his guests. Highly recommend!
