Amazing experience

We were lucky enough to have a wonderful day and fishing seemed to be good from start; but, apart of that, Will is extremely knowledgeable and will do everything in his power to enhance your experience. Not too much fuss and all about fishing. Super fast and willing to change when something was stalling for more than 15-20 minutes. Fishing for both Coho and Spring, minding the boat, changing gears and speed, watchin everything ever so carefully. And not babysitting your actions - like it happens with some other tours. He kept his involvement into the drills at minimum. I would super recommend.

Fantastic Charter

Half day on August 16, 2025 • 3 adults

My brother was visiting the island and we had to cancel our annual trip to Bamfield due to a wildfire, so we booked 2 half-days with Captain Will in Nanaimo. He immediately put us on the fish each morning, we caught our limits in Chinook each day with plenty of keeper Coho and even a couple Pinks! Will was very knowledgeable, friendly and keen to make sure we had success, he was not afraid to pivot strategies or locations if we hit a lull in the action. I can’t recommend his services enough if you are in need of a charter in Nanaimo or Port Alberni!

Amazing & memorable fishing trip!

I booked this trip on behalf of my dad who is an experienced angler. During the trip, captain William was friendly and professional, giving expert advice on various methods from jigging to trolling. We caught 30+ fosh ranging from chinook salmon to coho and even lingcod. My dad had a memorable and wonderful experience which he thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you for making this an amazing experience!!

We were very happy with the trip! Will is very knowledgeable and truly enjoys what he's doing. He's also great with kids! Our 13 year old son loved it. We caught lots of fish, almost our limits, and would definitely come back to go fishing with him again!
