Queste acque sono conosciute per Salmone reale, Salmone argentato, Lingcod, Halibut, Passera, Rockfish, Black rockwfish e altro ancora – con un po' di fortuna, avrai in bocca al pesce in pochissimo tempo. Durante queste uscite, puoi aspettarti di trainare per il Salmone e ancorare per l'Halibut. Il Capitano David può anche portarti a fare jigging per Rockfish e Lingcod. Vuoi portare tutta la famiglia all'aperto? I bambini sono assolutamente benvenuti! Sono disponibili giubbotti di salvataggio per bambini, oppure dovresti portare il tuo se hai una preferenza. E non puoi sbagliare con gli snack in modo che nessuno diventi scontroso a stomaco vuoto! Porta bevande rinfrescanti, anche per gli adulti, occhiolino!!
Il Capitano David opera su un Cruiser di 28' che può trasportare fino a 6 passeggeri. È dotato di downrigger e tutti gli elementi essenziali senza i quali nessuna macchina da pesca può funzionare. C'è un bagno a bordo per la tua comodità. Il tuo capitano fornirà canne e mulinelli, così come esche e un ottimo momento!
Dovrai ottenere una licenza di pesca locale prima dell'uscita. È richiesta una licenza Tidal. Queste informazioni sono disponibili online e il capitano consiglierà come ottenerla. Il Salmone richiede un tag/timbro per poterlo tenere, quindi assicurati di acquistarne uno con la tua licenza. Alcuni articoli da portare includono occhiali da sole, crema solare (non spray) e acqua in bottiglia. L'alcol è consentito a bordo.

Awesome Day!!
Afternoon half day trip on July 13, 2025 • 3 adults • 2 children
We couldn’t have asked for a better day and a better Captain. Dave was extremely thoughtful and worked with us to create the family fishing experience we were looking for. It’s called fishing, not catching as I had to remind the kids, but Dave did his best to find us fish and get the those hook ups!! 4 hours goes fast, so would recommend the full day trip in the future- but wow- Dave made sure we filled every minute with good vibes and thoughts of big fish. We feasted like kings on Coho, and Rockfish Tacos.
Highly recommend a trip with Dave for serious fisherman, families and anyone in between.

Highly recommend Bonzai and Dave! It was our first time out fishing in the ocean and despite my dad getting sea sick at first & my mom's limited mobility, Dave went out of his way to make sure we all had a great experience! He helped us reel in fish and gave us really good tips. He worked really hard & you can tell he really wanted us to get our catch on the boat.
The boat itself was comfortable with lots of room for 4 of us plus Dave.
Dave you were awesome! Thank you again for a great experience!

Bonzai - A ‘tree-rific’ Fishing Charter
Half Day Trip on July 28, 2025 • 5 adults
Our family of five enjoyed a morning charter with captain Dave. He was knowledgeable, passionate, and professional. We caught our limit of chinook salmon. Dave also offered us guidance as to where to get the fish processed for our travel home to another province. We appreciate how Dave shared some information throughout the charter about the island and aquatic wildlife. We highly recommend Bonzai charters and captain Dave.

Best afternoon on the trip!
2 Hour Fishing Experience on August 25, 2025 • 6 adults
Captain Dave was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Everyone got to catch a fish that was fishing in our group. Captain Fave was a fun guy even though he was busy keeping our lines in the water! We would highly recommend and this afternoon will be the highlight of our Tofino holiday.

Five from my family thoroughly enjoyed a day fishing with David. He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and helped us have an excellent day on the water. And we caught fish! Including Chinook (including 3 hogs), halibut and sole. Great day with an excellent captain.
