Half Day Trip – Float on February 28, 2026 • 2 adults
Nice day, first cast my son got a spotted bass off the bank, followed by a nice catfish, all on the fly. Didn’t think you could catch them on flies. Moved up river and I was able to land a carp with Colby’s guidance. Would never have been able to accomplish that on my own. Followed up with some shallow wading (water is warm) and got into some more carp and buffalo. Overall excellent day, great guide and awesome to see my son be talked onto fish.

Cody went to work with my 9 year old grandson and within 45 minutes he was catching fish. In an hour he was casting and striping feeling sunfish and 6 inch fingerling’s. Also, Cody had his development of casting to spots to a whole new guy level. Cody had made him a friend and a fly fisherman for life. Jax even got a lesson in rock inspection for the type of fly to use!!!!!!!

Ben like his other guides is there to help! This was our third time with Fatties….and their goal has always been the same.HAVING A GOOD EXPERIENCE! Their patience with our rookie ways has helped us grow with casting placement, seeing fish and reading the water to now the different flys to use.
