Perfect Family Walleye Trip – Fun, Successful, and Kid-Friendly

We had an incredible experience this morning out on the water with Captain Eric! It was just my husband, our 5-year-old son, and me—and he made it such a fun, easy, and successful trip for all of us.
Captain Eric was extremely knowledgeable and did a fantastic job teaching us how to jig for walleye. He explained everything in a way that was simple and approachable, which made it even more enjoyable.
What really stood out was how amazing he was with our son. He was patient, engaging, and made sure he felt included and excited the whole time. That meant a lot to us as parents and truly made the trip special.
He even filleted our catch for us, and we were able to enjoy a delicious fresh walleye dinner tonight—such an awesome bonus!
We had a great time, caught fish, and made some awesome family memories. We will definitely be booking with Captain Eric again—highly recommend!

Captain Eric - Get Hooked!

Captain Eric, was the best. Very knowledgeable, making sure we were using the best technique to get fish. Listen to him and you will catch fish! He’s been at this for a long time. He is very easy to work with. If this is your first time out or you fish regularly, Get Hooked is the right charter for you. My adult sons and I had a great time and will call on Captain Eric again in the future. Make sure you check out “Get Hooked” for your next charter!

Eric put us right on the fish. We ended with a 4 man limit of large walleye. He took the extra time to stage some photos of us with our catch in front of the ren cen and he showed is some other areas on the river we can fish on our own. Great afternoon trip, we will be back next April. Thanks!

We booked a charter for my son's birthday who is very excited about fishing. The first date we chose had to be rescheduled due to high winds, which I very much appreciated since it showed that Captain Eric is committed to his passengers safety and comfort during the charter. We had a great experience on Captain Eric's boat. His boat and equipment were great, we caught the biggest fish we have ever caught! He took special care in answering all our questions about fishing Lake St. Clair and he was very patient and kind with my son in catching all the fish and managing the poles. We had a great time with Captain Eric, I highly recommend booking with him and we will definitely be back for another charter.

Great Detroit River Fishing Experience

Captain Eric did a great job getting us on big fish, despite tough conditions! He offered advise and helpful pointers to the new guys and runs a great boat. I will definitely look to fish with Captain Eric again.
