Captain Billy Freudensprung is located in Seadrift and offers to show you a memorable time on the water. Everyone is welcome to come aboard. There is no minimum age for kids, so as long as the parents are happy. Life jackets are provided for the little ones, but for maximum comfort. It's recommended that parents bring their own for the kids.

Capt. Billy will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 4 to 7-hour trips, mainly fishing for Redfish, Black Drum, Flounder, Speckled Trout, and Sheepshead, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, bottom fishing, drift fishing, and popping corks.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 24' El Pescador boat that can safely take up to 4 anglers.

All fishing equipment and tackle will be furnished and included in the price. You get to keep the catch, so it's recommended to bring a cooler. The captain will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. You'll need to purchase your fishing license and pack some food and drinks for your trip.

I Talked to Captain Billy regarding some physical limitations my adult son faced.He hasn't fished in 10 years,so he was a little out of practice.Captain Billy was patient and and willing to put in the extra effort in to insure a great trip.I will definately book a trip with him this coming Spring.

Last minute trip

4 Hour – Bay Fishing (AM) on September 9, 2025 • 2 adults

We were able to sneak a trip in last minute and Billy did not disappoint. My ribs are sore from setting the hook on fish. (Which is a great thing) We caught reds, specs, drum and even a couple of sting rays. Plus, went home with a cooler full of fish fillets in bags sorted by the type of fish it was.

Captain Billy had us on fish and had us ready to go within minutes of getting there .. had a really good time with him .. took us to a couple good spots .. good bait and good equipment .. no issues .. I would use him again
