Old School Fishing Charters dispone di una barca Carolina Skiff Ultra Elite Series da 21' chiamata Touch of Grey. Può ospitare 6 ospiti ed è equipaggiata con un motore fuoribordo Suzuki a quattro tempi da 150 HP. Vanta anche un motore elettrico Minnkota Terova, un'ancora per acque basse Power Pole da 8', un GPS/ecoscandaglio/profondimetro Simrad Pro 9 e una radio VHF Northstar. C'è anche una ghiacciaia che puoi utilizzare e una vasca per il pesce vivo.

Captain Mike was a ton of fun!

We of course chose the deathly of hot days to go which did impact our catches, but Mike kept us moving around and trying different techniques. Took us all the way down to the last hour of our last day, but my son finally pulled in a 27” drum! We caught some bass and Mike caught a blue fish otherwise. He was very accommodating and knowledgeable. Being a retired teacher, definitely good with kids.

Half Day Trip MAX 2 Crew on August 24, 2025 • 2 adults
Fishing with Captain Mike on an overcast day, caught so some bait fish and headed out to the old bridge for trout fishing. I caught a Citation sheepshead, it was huge fish. The fight was a LOT OF FUN, more than I expected. Everyone was excited, huge fish. Finished the day off with some trout. GREAT TIME, going back in October.

Capt. Mike - friendly fish finder

Great trip with Capt. Mike who know is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the local waters in OBX. He came prepared with live bait and put us on fish within 30 minutes. He was a patient casting coach with my family and made our trip both educational and relaxing. I would highly recommend Old School Charters on The Touch of Grey.

Awesome day in Nags Head Fishing

We had a great time and caught a bunch of fish. Speckled Trout/ Reds/ and blues. Captain was great and really enjoyed the time we spent out on the water.

This was a nice fishing trip for my son and I. Capt Mike was very engaged and helpful with some extra tips. Easy to find and the weather wasn't bad. Would have liked more fish but we had to save some for next time. 😉 Recommend Capt Mike for an easy and relaxing day.
