The fishing itself was amazing—Whether you’re experienced or it’s your first time, this is something you have to try at least once. The thrill of the catch, the ocean breeze, and the memories we made… just unforgettable.

Beautiful Conch 27...Clean and well organized boat that shows pride and professionalism in what he does.
Captain Ingram is engaging, conversational and genuinely a great guy to hang out with while fishing. I enjoyed talking and joking around while trolling and Kite fishing. I did an 8 hour trip and for me it flew by. We had a tough day with a lot of weeds but he NEVER gives up, tries various techniques and presentations to catch fish and stays in contact with other vessels out in the ocean collaborating about whats working. At some point I will be back in the area and will absolutely check with him to go out again.

We took the 4-hour tour starting at 8am with Captain Lacy on the Reel Stubborn Fishing Charter and had a fantastic experience.
It was a bit of a slow start, but Captain Lacy stayed persistent and kept working to find the fish. His effort paid off and we ended up landing two great ones—a wahoo and a tuna—which made the trip even more exciting.
Captain Lacy was very professional and you could tell he genuinely cared about making sure we had a great time. He even stayed out an extra 30 minutes on the way back to the dock to give us another chance to hook one more fish, which we really appreciated.
We’d definitely book with him again the next time we visit Florida and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great fishing trip.

iv been a long time fisherman. iv been lucky to do some amazing fishing in my life on different guide boats and even live in worlds class fishing area myself. you cant fake knowledge which capt lacy has. Capt lacy
is also very patient with you. I probably annoyed him with a million different questions everything from what tides you want to fish to water temp to gear size and he explained everything in detail. even if we didnt catch anything my wife and i had a amazing time we were very fortunate to catch very large wahoo and a very large sail fish and even a couple Baracouda and had probably dozen other bites and lost 1 near the boat. can’t recommend capt lacy enough.

Captain Lacy made our trip one for the memory books! We went out at 7 a.m. and only had one bite the entire day, right up until we were about to head in. Captain Lacy is all about trying to get you that one big catch, especially on a slow day, and I experienced this firsthand.
We were on the water about ten minutes past our reserved time when one of the lines took off. Captain Lacy knew right away that it was big and set us up for success immediately. Once we wrestled the fish to the surface, he brought it aboard and wasted no time setting another line. The bait had barely hit the water when we heard the reel unspool!
After a tough battle, we pulled in the second of a pair of monster 4-foot kingfish. My buddy and I were thrilled to land anything on a day that had seemed bleak, and we could tell Captain Lacy felt the same way. I would highly recommend anyone interested in booking a charter in the Pompano Beach area check out Captain Lacy with Reel Stubborn Fishing Charters!
