An Unforgettable Day on the Water!

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Hudson Fishing Charter! From start to finish, everything was top-notch.
Captain Mike is a true pro—within minutes of getting lines in the water, he had us right on the fish. His knowledge of the area and instincts for where the action would be were spot-on all day long. We were reeling them in left and right!
Equally impressive was John, the first mate, who worked non-stop with a smile on his face. He was incredibly attentive, helping with bait, gear, and keeping everything running smoothly—he didn’t stop moving the entire trip. You can tell he genuinely cares about making sure everyone has a great time. Both Captain Mike and John catered to my two sons (11 and 13) making them feel comfortable and in control during their first charter fishing trip.
If you’re looking for a fun, professional, and productive day on the water, I can’t recommend Hudson Fishing Charter enough. We’ll definitely be back! 🎣🔥

We had such an unforgettable time out on the water! A huge shoutout to our amazing captain, Mike — he truly went above and beyond to make our first fishing trip an experience to remember. From the moment we stepped on board, he made us feel comfortable and excited, even as total beginners. Mike is not only incredibly knowledgeable about fishing, but he also took the time to teach us everything we needed to know with patience and enthusiasm.
He shared so many helpful tips with my husband, which really added a special touch to the day. We also brought our two young kids — who can be quite a handful — and Mike was incredibly patient, kind, and engaging with them. He made sure everyone felt included, safe, and most importantly, had fun!
This trip exceeded our expectations in every way. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a total beginner like us, we can’t recommend booking with Mike enough. Thank you for making our family outing such a memorable adventure!

We went out today with Captain Mike and his first mate John to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday, and we had an absolutely fantastic time. There were six of us on board, and everything about the trip exceeded our expectations. We caught seven striped bass which was awesome for a half day trip in the sound.
Captain Mike and John were both professional, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun to be around. They made us feel comfortable right away and clearly knew the best spots to fish. The boat itself was awesome. We especially appreciated the cabin, which offered a nice shaded spot to relax and enjoy the sandwiches we brought along.
It was a perfect day on the water, and we’ll definitely be recommending this charter to others. Thanks again to Captain Mike and John for helping make our dad’s birthday so memorable.

Great family outing

Had a great time on an early season fishing trip with three generations of family (ages 13 to 77). Capt Mike and Chris were a great team and highly professional! Got 5 striped bass- 4 legal size (kept one- Chris cleaned it for us) and one enormous whopper! It didn't look like other boats were having as much luck so lots of credit to Mike and Chris for their fish-sense in getting us in the right spots with the right rigs. Definitely would go out again with them.
Marina offers easy access with covered parking.

Captain Mike and his first mate Jon were amazing! Super friendly and made our experience 100% unforgettable. Very knowledgeable team and we’re definitely out to make sure we had a great time. We hit a dry spot for a little bit because of the tides and we started to hit fish again when it was time to go back in and they stayed out for extra time just so we caught some more fish. I would definitely recommend this charter and I’ve been on so many others.
