This trip was truly exceptional, marking my family's inaugural fishing adventure. The captain and first mate went above and beyond to ensure that we had an unforgettable experience. As novices in the world of fishing, we had modest expectations, hoping that at least one of us would reel in a catch. However, the captain's expertise and enthusiasm transformed our outing into a remarkable success, with fish biting consistently throughout the day. We are immensely grateful for the incredible memories created during this trip and eagerly anticipate the opportunity to embark on another fishing expedition in the future.

When we started out the radio was filled with chatter about “picking” at the fish. Meaning the bite was slow. By the end of the trip Captain Weaver was making side bets with the other captains on who will hook up first. We won of course! Then Captain Weaver gave the others our secret to success. I won’t make that public here. Book a charter with him to find out.
We did a 4 hour charter and ended the day with over 50 fish in the cooler!
A special thanks to our First Mate Matt for working the grind. We kept him moving.
Great trip! Highly Recommended!

Captain was honest about not alot of bites on the morning trip. Assured us he would do what he could. Captain Greg has is on the fish within minutes of getting out. Matt is a great mate who was very informative about the boat and answered all my questions about the charter business in VA Beach. Fishing was outstanding and between 3 of us we coolered 37 Spanish Mac. Will definitely book Captain Greg again and will refer his services to others. Thank you Captain Greg and Matt for a memorable first trip.

Great fishing charter

Hired this charter to take myself and 5 friends out for the afternoon to go fishing. The captain was very open and honest about the current weather and fishing conditions beforehand. He was accommodating when we had a couple members of the group arrive late due to traffic. The boat was clean and in good condition. The first mate was helpful and knowledgeable. Overall, it was a fun trip and I would recommend it to anyone looking to go fishing around Virginia Beach.
