5 Hour Trip – Wreck Fishing on September 27, 2025 • 6 adults
We booked a trip for my eight year old's 8th birthday on September 27th, 2025. Kevin was one of the best fishing guides that we've ever been with. Starting from the very beginning he even suggested we park in a different parking spot based on the crowd levels and the possibility of being blocked in. He explained that they were short handed so he had to first mate and captain the boat for us.
Kevin was personable, knowledgeable and put us right on the fish. I estimate that we caught around 60-70 fish with dozens of keepers. He tailored the trip and time to allow us to try for Sea Bass and Flounder and did an excellent job driving the boat, rigging the poles, cutting bait and taking care of all of us on the trip.
There was an issue where a line got snagged on the bottom and the pole snapped, sending 3/4 of the pole into the ocean. This information was relayed to the business owner who initially charged $120 for the loss of the road. We contacted the owner who replied in a timely manner and explained that nothing negligent occurred to cause the rod to break. This business owner agreed to refund the $120 and by doing that he's gained a customer for life. It goes a long way for an owner to hear a complaint and make it right.
I will send anyone looking for a fishing trip to Chasin' Tides and my family will definitely book with them again in the future. Thanks for a great trip and excellent customer service.

We took the 28' Dusky 20 miles out. Captain Kevin and Mate Jeff were great
4 Hour Trip - Inshore Trolling (PM) on August 10, 2025 • 6 adults
Initially had booked a 4-hour near shore trolling trip but were open to going wherever the fish were. Kevin urged us to do a 6-hour wreck trip because of reports the black sea bass were biting. Decided to go for it and it was the right decision! Boat of 6 of us were pulling them up 2 at time. Ended up with over 60+ fish boxed. During the trip we seen dolphins, a shark, a giant sea turtle, squid, and a Cobia too.
All in all it was a great trip but the work ethic of Kevin and Jeff was the stand out feature. With 6 of us on board slamming fish they were working hard the entire time! Never stopped keeping us fishing it was impressive. Thanks again!

4 Hour Trip – Bay Fishing (AM) on June 6, 2025 • 4 adults • 1 child
I took my Dad and family out for a 4 hour bay fishing trip. The weather was great and the water smooth. Kevin and Malachi both recommended that head out to the ocean for a little trolling. I’m so glad that we did. We were slaying the fish and caught our limit of blue fish and got some spanish mackerel and a green bonita. It was a ton of fun and all 6 of us got to reel in lots of fish. The captain and mate ensured we were comfortable and having a good time. My kids 15,13, and 11 loved it and can’t wait to go back. I’ll definitely be booking here next time.

6 Hour Trip – Wreck & Trolling on April 17, 2025 • 3 adults
Booked a trip to take my teenaged sons on their first Atlantic charter and not one of us was disappointed! Nick worked hard to keep us on the fish, taught the boys a bunch, and jammed to great music. We enjoyed it so much we booked for the next day for another go. The weather was great, but the wind wasn't the best, so we stayed bay side this time and we weren't disappointed!! Kevin got us on the fish almost immediately. After a short lull, we moved to a "honey hole" and started nailing them!! Honestly, I couldn't be more satisfied!!

Great bachelor trip
8 Hr Wreck and Sharkfishing on August 9, 2025 • 6 adults
My group of 6 guys all caught fish. Lots of seabass and 2 sharks. Even though most of us got sick the crew of chase and Jeff were great. They worked extremely hard to make sure we got fish on deck. Definitely one of the best charter experiences I've ever had i will be booking them again. Extra shootout to Jeff the first mate he was the hardest working mate I've ever seen super nice guy and was willing to talk and share experiences with us it was like hanging out with some old friends on chasin tides.
