We had an absolutely incredible day out on the water with Captain Jason! From the moment we dropped the lines in, we were catching fish almost immediately. No waiting around, no wondering if we were in the right spot — Captain Jason clearly knows exactly where to go and how to put you on the fish. Beyond his skills as a captain, the entire trip had such a laid-back, easygoing vibe. It never felt rushed or overly structured — just a perfect balance of serious fishing and pure fun. And speaking of fun… Captain Jason is incredibly funny. He kept us laughing the entire trip with stories, quick wit, and just the right amount of good-natured ribbing. It honestly felt like heading out with a friend who just happens to be an expert guide. One of the highlights was taking time to snorkel and see the fish up close. That extra touch made the experience even more memorable — not just catching them, but getting to observe the underwater world firsthand. It really set this charter apart from others. We took the 2 hour afternoon cruise and we had an excellent time. Family of four with two young kids (5 and 7). Captain was good with the kids and was able to help them in a patient, professional way. Prior to the tour captain called and offered to reschedule as the water was a bit choppy, we opted to go anyway and it was totally fine. We appreciated the heads up and option to go when conditions were a little better. I'm not sure if everyone would do this, but captain Jason did. Our catch was filleted on the dock and we took them to a nearby restaurant where they prepared our catch. Totally awesome experience for our whole family.

My wife and I were in Islamorada and booked a trip with Captain Jason. He called to say that the weather on our original booking was sketchy and suggested an alternative time that would be better. We were able to make it work and he came and picked us up. Right away, Captain Jason made us feel welcome and he asked what would make the best trip for us. He obviously has a ton of experience and had some really good suggestions. We headed out a few miles and immediately had luck with some barracuda. What a blast! We then went back towards land a bit and spent some time still fishing and caught a ton of fish. Captain Jason was extremely fun to chat with and he looked after us really well. His boat and equipment are in excellent shape and we were comfortable the whole time. If you're looking for a fun, relaxed, and productive fishing trip we highly recommend heading out with Captain Jason!

Jason was great to work with and was a conciencious of our family. He had clean language and was so positive and happy to help the kids (and adults) have a positive experience. He provided a cooler full of ice and water, which was wonderful to have on a warm day. He put in so much effort to help make sure that we caught some fish. We were having an unlucky day, but he was persistent and we tried 4-5 places in the ocean with multiple fishing techniques. We managed to catch 6 different kinds of fish! They were small, so we didn't bother keeping them for our dinner, but everyone was able to catch a fish and had a great time laying some basics about fishing. Jason was so patient to teach all of us and to continually support us in our attempts. We all had a great time and enjoyed our experience.

Captain Jason gave us a wonderful afternoon with fishing. He was considerate before the trip, making sure we understood what fish we were going for. As we were partly eager to test our luck for shark, but also wanted high probability catch we started the trips with some barracudafishing before heading for the sharks. The sharks bit, but alas none were really hooked. Bareacudas however were amazing fun.
