We had an awesome deep sea fishing experience overall! We ended up landing a massive yellowfin tuna—around 40 kg—which was an absolute thrill and something we won’t forget anytime soon. The captain and mate were fantastic: super knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly very experienced. They worked hard to get us on fish and made the whole trip smooth and enjoyable—easily a 10/10 for the crew. The only downside, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, was that we didn’t get to keep any of the tuna. That was a bit disappointing, especially after such an incredible catch, and something we wish had been clearer upfront. That said, it was still an unforgettable experience, and we’d absolutely recommend this charter—just be sure to ask about the fish retention policy ahead of time!

Vooral voor mijn zoon van 7 jaar was het een dag om nooit te vergeten. Vanaf het moment dat we aan boord stapten, voelde alles ontspannen, professioneel en vooral heel plezierig. De crew verdient een groot compliment. Ze waren vriendelijk, geduldig en duidelijk gewend om met zowel volwassenen als kinderen om te gaan. Mijn zoon werd overal bij betrokken, kreeg uitleg over het materiaal, de vissen en hoe alles werkte, en werd op een leuke en veilige manier aangemoedigd. Dat zorgde ervoor dat hij zich echt onderdeel van het avontuur voelde. Je zag aan alles dat ze plezier hebben in hun werk en dat straalt af op de hele sfeer aan boord. Ook qua vangst was het een topdag: we hebben maar liefst 7 vissen gevangen! Dat maakt het natuurlijk extra leuk, zeker voor een kind. Elke vangst werd enthousiast ontvangen en er was veel aandacht voor wat er gevangen werd. De materialen aan boord waren van goede kwaliteit en duidelijk goed onderhouden, wat vertrouwen geeft, zeker wanneer je met een jong kind op zee bent. Daarnaast werkte alles mee: prachtig weer, een rustige zee en schitterende uitzichten. Het was echt zo’n dag waarop alles klopt. Niet gehaast, geen stress, maar genieten van de zee, het vissen en elkaars gezelschap. Voor ons was dit absoluut voor herhaling vatbaar. Mijn zoon praat er nog steeds over en vraagt al wanneer we weer mogen. Als je op zoek bent naar een professionele, gezellige en kindvriendelijke vistrip op zee met een leuke crew, goed materiaal en een grote kans op een mooie vangst, dan kan ik dit bedrijf van harte aanbevelen. Wij komen zeker terug! 🎣🌊

They were very prompt in responding and picked me up right off the dock at Sandals where we were staying. I’d chosen a 3/4 day trip for myself (seas too choppy for my wife). Ack and Julian were the crew and they were a great tandem to fish with. As soon as we left the inlet by Sandals they were already working gear to try to land some live bait for bigger fish (e.g. we caught some skipjacks right out of the gate). One of the skipjacks got sheared in half as I reeled it in and showed what they said was a clear Wahoo strike. We caught a couple of small barracuda. Then a small Rainbow Runner that we quickly released. We then got a double hookup of Mahi Mahis. We picked the one we wanted to fight and got the leader to the boat, but before we could could pull it out for some pics, it’s last ditch effort it threw the hook (tip of the cap to the fish:). We then caught a couple nicer barracudas that we kept. Also caught a couple small blackin tuna that made for some tasty sashimi:). We cruised out to and around Klein island which was cool scenery while fishing. And to their credit they continued fishing up until the last minute which is when the trip moved into the Epic class. As they started pulling in the line for the outriggers and calling it a day, we got a strong hit on a down line. That’s when we reeled in the 40+ pound Wahoo! We were all fired up. Put on a pretty good show as we paraded the fish past the Sandals pool so my wife (and everybody else:) could see! When I hopefully come back to Curacao, I know who I hope to fish with…Ack and Julien on the Ynot!

Julian and Derek (hope I spelled his name correctly) were extremely professional, safe, informative, and weren't going to let us go home without catching something. What looked like what may be a "hitless" af5ernoon quickly turned into 2 caught tuna and 1 barricuda. This is all thanks to their relentless efforts. They could've called it a day after 3.5 hours of no catches on a 4 hour trip but wouldn't give up and ended up getting those 3 catches while taking their time getting back to shore. Snacks, water, and soda were provided as well as information on the bait/fish we caught as well as safety procedures on the boat. They are worth every penny! I recommend them 100%.

5-Star Fishing Experience on the Party Hooker! Had an incredible day out on the Party Hooker! From the moment we left the dock, the crew was professional, punctual, and clearly knew their stuff. They worked hard to put us on the fish, and it paid off big time — we landed yellowfin tuna, bigeye tuna, and skipjack tuna. On top of the action-packed fishing, we were treated to a show by a huge pod of dolphins. The crew made sure everyone was comfortable and safe, and their passion for what they do really came through. Can’t recommend this trip enough — if you’re looking for a top-notch fishing experience, this is it.
